The Final Conflict: Tyre Circa 332 B.C.
Here are a few photographs of the "Siege of Tyre: 332 B.C. The Final Conflict" as demonstrated with Classical Hack Ancient Warfare 600 B.C. to 600 A.D. at Fall In 2000. These images are from the camera of Rich Villella and the last to in row two Lynne Viverito who kindly took the time to capture the event which won no less than three awards at Fall In and Origins 2002. It is interaction of the participatants and visitors that makes the work of the creators of such events so important to the hobby of miniature gaming. Certainly without participants and photographers (like Rich), in house support like Lynne's, such events would not be remembered and so execiting. Such interaction makes it all worth while!
I should mention that the last two photos by Lynne were due to a blunder by me! I had built Tyre and after two showings at Fall In! and Siege of Augusta I sold Tyre. Lynne reminded me that we were scheduled to do Hot Lead in March and we had promised to do Siege of Tyre in 2 months' time, "Ok, you sold it. What are you going to do for Hot Lead, in two months?" Ouch! I rebuilt the city and in fact made it 2 feet longer, in less than two weeks. That is how easy John's stuff is so easy to use.
Then too I cannot thank John Hutt enough for his wonderful products. John's product line make my simple animations of buildings and boats look great. In fact such products can make anyone a scratch builder of "great things and places" such as Tyre.
