Those Dirty Bastions
It is from the various bastions that provide a very nice cross fire which cover any approach to the curtain walls. Very nice if you are in the bastions, not so much if you are outside them. Each bastion is basically a gun platform. These are able to offer counter battery fire from a covered position.
